We’re heading to Canberra for Sport Your Pride 2026! 🏳️🌈🏒
Sport Your Pride is part of Canberra’s SpringOUT Pride Festival, bringing LGBTQIA+ communities, allies and sporting organisations together to celebrate participation, visibility and belonging in sport.
With a range of sports getting involved across the weekend, we’re excited to represent ice hockey and show that hockey is for everyone.
Harbour Lights on the ice
We’ll be taking to the ice on Saturday afternoon for three games featuring players from across the LGBTQIA+ hockey community:
🏒 Intermediate & Above – for more experienced players
🏒 Development – for more newer players to the sport
🏒 Mixed Social Game – a fun, inclusive game bringing development and intermediate players together for a social match!
Whether you’re a hockey fan, an ally, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or just want to come along and see what queer hockey is all about, come down and cheer us on!

About Sport your pride
Sport Your Pride is a multi-sport LGBTQIA+ activation held as part of Canberra’s SpringOUT Pride Festival. The event brings together sporting clubs and communities from across the region to create welcoming spaces where LGBTQIA+ people and allies can move, play and belong.
We’re proud to be part of the event alongside sporting communities from across Canberra and to help make LGBTQIA+ sport more visible, welcoming and accessible.
