Feeling pretty in purple?
Wear It Purple Day is an annual celebration that sees thousands of participants wear purple in a loud, proud display of support and acceptance for LGBTQIA+ youth.
This year, we’re celebrating with a very purple social day out and 50/50 fundraiser raffle.
We’ll be cheering on the Street Roller Hockey League Sydney (SRHLS) at their Saturday tournament and — if you’re keen — we’re welcome to strap on a pair of roller skates and join in the drop-in skills session.
While we’re having fun out in the sun, we’ll also be selling 50/50 Wear It Purple raffle tickets. Half the proceeds will go to Wear It Purple, half to the club for our next event, and one lucky winner will get their very own Harbour Lights jersey (with their name on it!) and a roll of pride tape.
